Needle bearings, excluding the inner ring, consist of cylindrical rollers with a small diameter relative to their length. Because of the large number of rollers, the bearing can handle high loads. The outer ring has two protruding edges to guide the bearing axially, and an ring groove with one or more lubrication holes to facilitate relubrication.
